38 Mobile Hospitals, 17 Districts and Growing

The mobile health units project has been brought in to revolutionise the health care facility by eliminating the element of distance and remoteness of BHUs and tertiary care hospitals. The project not only aims to bring swift and timely medical care to the doorstep but to also make screening of breast cancer possible in every corner of Sindh.

Here at PMIU of MHUs project we prioritise patient care. And therefore we are striving to ensure the availability of the state of the art first line of defence against minor injuries and ailments and to utilise our precious resources for the welfare of the people to the best of our abilities. With pure intent and sincere effort we have already launched 26 sophisticated medical vehicles which are operating in the field at their maximum capacity. The new 14 vehicles will be incorporated in the existing fleet by the end of 2024 which will further enhance our reach to the people by closing the distances. This project has a massive potential to reduce morbidity and mortality rate especially among the women and children with early detection and treatment of disease particularly in areas where road links and communication infrastructure is in shambles.
